An orionine voice in the desert

          I will return to Jordan on December 16, but I believe I did not arrive with empty hands, everywhere I spend here in Brazil I learn a little more to bring to our children in Jordan. Today I was able to learn various games and briquendos done with recycling. Thanks to teachers of space Eureka. This week in the city of Monte Alto - SP I visited my friend Raquel and her family and also take a course to play with recyclable material, to my luck I got to meet a wonderful job done by the students of pedagogy of FAN, a toy 100% made for recycling and I could not miss the opportunity to congratulate all the students and teacher who did this wonderful job and I will certainly take a great store of knowledge to Jordan, also a little chat with the authors of the works and I hope to see them in the workshop which will be held on Nov. 18 in Monte Alto. Congratulations for your amazing work you have done, I believe that many children will be benefited by the great creativity of all of you.   .   

Yesterday during the day I had a meeting with the children of our Educational Center Don Orione, talking a little about the Don Orione mission in the Middle East and also shed some light on the culture of the people of Jordan. Interesting is that many people do not know the difference between Jordan and Palestine, for some people the war in Gaza was in Jordan. But with a little time for conversation and a few videos I could show them the wonders of Jordan and that whatever they thought was wrong, we all live well and has wonderful places and security for those who wish to travel or even live. The night also spoke to the group of people travel Achiropta theology of the church. I think we still have much to talk and show a Jordan that they do not know. beautiful, hospitable, diverse and above all safe, ecolocar in the heart of each one a little of what I feel for this country and this people a true love .  

The meeting at the Shrine of Aparecida was the opportunity also to meet old friends, in  the Shrine I could see my friends from Guararapes, Forquilhinha and also London because of the OLM international meeting, I had the opportunity to review Ursula, an Irishwoman who lives in Hampton Wick, one of the houses of Don Orione I lived and also made many friends, as Father Stephen, Jayne, and Anne. On Tuesday I with Ursula together with some friends from Spain and Chile were walking through the Sao Paulo, we saw Don Orione square, and the Trianon park that is a wonderful place between the concrete jungle of Paulista Avenue. On Sunday about 1000 people in Orionine Lay Movement , and the fathers, brothers, nuns, monks and nuns of the Congregation of St. Louis Orione were the Shrine of Our Lady Aparecida, Brazil's patron saint. Was also the Provincial General Don Flavio Peloso and the Superior of our mission in Jordan Fr. Malcolm and also OLM representatives from various countries participated in the international meeting of the OLM . We started our meeting with the celebration of the Eucharist presided by Bishop Don Joercio Gonçalves Pereira. At Santuario Mariano had about 15 thousand people, where devotees went to our mother's house. After the Mass all Orione’s family participated in a wonderful meeting organized by the province of northern Brazil, which they can share the experiences of our big family orionine. Today I'm in my hometown, Sao Paulo city. I was born in this great city that now has more than 20 million people. I love Sao Paulo because here you can find the whole world in one city. Here you can find in the neighborhood of Liberty Japan, or Italy in Bixiga. Here are many races and colors and different cultures, and can not forget that you can find everything you need in this large metropolitan.

Today marks a great celebration of the mother of Jesus, Our Lady of Aparecida the patron saint of Brazil. this video may explain a little about this great party for all Brazilians.

   Today I was remembering my last night in Jordan before I came to Brazil. I found a picture I took from Bashar Issa and Jamil, when they were with me and Antonio for the airport, it was dawn, I believe we left the house 3 in the morning. I want to thank you my dear friends, it was very satisfying, leaving Jordan and have you guys three until the last moment with me, especially Bashar, you that is always with me in difficult times and happy times too, and you know that because I have you like my brother that ever I say and I will always say I'm from Karaki. 3llarassi ya Karaki. There are nearly three hundred years, the people of the Amazon is a great procession to Our Lady of Nazare. This year more than 2 million people participated in the procession which is known as Cirio de Nazare. All devotees of the mother of Jesus going up to Belem do Para for this lovely party.
