The International Day of Refugees

Image
Today, in our Don Orione Center in Zarqa -. Jordan, we celebrated the International Refugee Day, we had lunch with our families of Iraqi refugees who live here in our center and others we give food and gas assistance, today Fr. Hani celebrated the Mass in the Syriac rite of Chaldean Catholic Church. Observing these families came to my mind so many families who could not escape their countries at war or who, unfortunately, died in the way. Thank God that these families have been saved and that we with the least we can do for them to survive until the day they can be received by a country. Here are the pictures of these beautiful children who have survived of terror and the war and who can continue their lives with joy and smiling even though they are far way from their origin country.

Welcome to Jordan.

Hello friends. Finally, after six years, I arrived in my mission land. Friday, June 9 I disembarked at Amman airport with a beautiful welcome from the confreres and young people of the Oratory of Don Orione in Zarqa - Jordan. Saturday was a day of rest and also a day of celebration with the youth of the Oratory, and Sunday I did the service in the Mass as a deacon, where I made my first proclamation of the Gospel in Arabic in our parish Queen of Peace. From today we will travel together in the work of Don Orione in the middle of the desert. I ask you all for a special prayer for my ministry here in Jordan. Hail Mary and onward
