Mateus 16,13-19

But when Jesus was come into the parts of Caesarea-Philippi, he demanded of his disciples, saying, Who do men say that I the Son of man am?

And they said, Some, John the baptist; and others, Elias; and others again, Jeremias or one of the prophets.

He says to them, But *ye*, who do ye say that I am?

And Simon Peter answering said, *Thou* art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And Jesus answering said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona, for flesh and blood has not revealed {it} to thee, but my Father who is in the heavens.

And *I* also, I say unto thee that *thou* art Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and hades' gates shall not prevail against it.

And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of the heavens; and whatsoever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be bound in the heavens; and whatsoever thou mayest loose on the earth shall be loosed in the heavens.

ولما جاء يسوع الى نواحي قيصرية فيلبس سأل تلاميذه قائلا من يقول الناس اني انا ابن الانسان.

فقالوا. قوم يوحنا المعمدان. وآخرون ايليا. وآخرون ارميا او واحد من الانبياء.

فقال لهم وانتم من تقولون اني انا.

فاجاب سمعان بطرس وقال انت هو المسيح ابن الله الحي.

فاجاب يسوع وقال له طوبى لك يا سمعان بن يونا. ان لحما ودما لم يعلن لك لكن ابي الذي في السموات.

وانا اقول لك ايضا انت بطرس وعلى هذه الصخرة ابني كنيستي وابواب الجحيم لن تقوى عليها.

وأعطيك مفاتيح ملكوت السموات. فكل ما تربطه على الارض يكون مربوطا في السموات. وكل ما تحله على الارض يكون محلولا في السموات.

E, chegando Jesus às partes de Cesaréia de Filipe, interrogou os seus discípulos, dizendo: Quem dizem os homens ser o Filho do homem?

E eles disseram: Uns, João o Batista; outros, Elias; e outros, Jeremias, ou um dos profetas.

Disse-lhes ele: E vós, quem dizeis que eu sou?

E Simão Pedro, respondendo, disse: Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.

E Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhe: Bem-aventurado és tu, Simão Barjonas, porque to não revelou a carne e o sangue, mas meu Pai, que está nos céus.

Pois também eu te digo que tu és Pedro, e sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha igreja, e as portas do inferno não prevalecerão contra ela;

E eu te darei as chaves do reino dos céus; e tudo o que ligares na terra será ligado nos céus, e tudo o que desligares na terra será desligado nos céus.
