Lucas 1,26-38

E, no sexto mês, foi o anjo Gabriel enviado por Deus a uma cidade da Galiléia, chamada Nazaré,

A uma virgem desposada com um homem, cujo nome era José, da casa de Davi; e o nome da virgem era Maria.

E, entrando o anjo aonde ela estava, disse: Salve, agraciada; o Senhor é contigo; bendita és tu entre as mulheres.

E, vendo-o ela, turbou-se muito com aquelas palavras, e considerava que saudação seria esta.

Disse-lhe, então, o anjo: Maria, não temas, porque achaste graça diante de Deus.

E eis que em teu ventre conceberás e darás à luz um filho, e por-lhe-ás o nome de Jesus.

Este será grande, e será chamado filho do Altíssimo; e o Senhor Deus lhe dará o trono de Davi, seu pai;

E reinará eternamente na casa de Jacó, e o seu reino não terá fim.

E disse Maria ao anjo: Como se fará isto, visto que não conheço homem algum?

E, respondendo o anjo, disse-lhe: Descerá sobre ti o Espírito Santo, e a virtude do Altíssimo te cobrirá com a sua sombra; por isso também o Santo, que de ti há de nascer, será chamado Filho de Deus.

E eis que também Isabel, tua prima, concebeu um filho em sua velhice; e é este o sexto mês para aquela que era chamada estéril;

Porque para Deus nada é impossível.

Disse então Maria: Eis aqui a serva do Senhor; cumpra-se em mim segundo a tua palavra. E o anjo ausentou-se dela.

وفي الشهر السادس أرسل جبرائيل الملاك من الله الى مدينة من الجليل اسمها ناصرة

الى عذراء مخطوبة لرجل من بيت داود اسمه يوسف. واسم العذراء مريم.

فدخل اليها الملاك وقال سلام لك ايتها المنعم عليها. الرب معك مباركة انت في النساء.

فلما رأته اضطربت من كلامه وفكرت ما عسى ان تكون هذه التحية.

فقال لها الملاك لا تخافي يا مريم لانك قد وجدت نعمة عند الله.

وها انت ستحبلين وتلدين ابنا وتسمينه يسوع.

هذا يكون عظيما وابن العلي يدعى ويعطيه الرب الاله كرسي داود ابيه.

ويملك على بيت يعقوب الى الابد ولا يكون لملكه نهاية

فقالت مريم للملاك كيف يكون هذا وانا لست اعرف رجلا.

فاجاب الملاك وقال لها. الروح القدس يحل عليك وقوة العلي تظللك فلذلك ايضا القدوس المولود منك يدعى ابن الله.

وهوذا اليصابات نسيبتك هي ايضا حبلى بابن في شيخوختها وهذا هو الشهر السادس لتلك المدعوة عاقرا.

لانه ليس شيء غير ممكن لدى الله.

فقالت مريم هوذا انا أمة الرب. ليكن لي كقولك. فمضى من عندها الملاك

Luke 1, 26-38

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

And he came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord [is] with thee.

But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this might be.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.

And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

And Mary said unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee: wherefore also the holy thing which is begotten shall be called the Son of God.

And behold, Elisabeth thy kinswoman, she also hath conceived a son in her old age; and this is the sixth month with her that was called barren.

For no word from God shall be void of power.

And Mary said, Behold, the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
